1. What classes do you offer? We proudly offer classes in Creative Movement, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical/Contemporary, Pointe, Jumps & Turns, Adult Fitness, and Vocal as well as audition-based competition teams and performing groups.

2. What is the age range and experience necessary to participate in your program? We offer a 40-week curriculum based class format for students ages 2 - Adult, and offer classes in all levels, from beginner to advanced. It is our goal to provide our dancers with a class in which they feel comfortable while being challenged.

3. Do I need to audition to get into the program? There is no audition process. Class placement is done at the discretion of the program directors and/or teachers. Placement is based upon age, ability, and experience. All children and adults are welcome.

4. Can my child take classes whenever he/she wants and what type of commitment is expected? Classes run from September through the middle of July on weekdays and Saturdays. A commitment to class attendance is extremely important for any dancer's progress. Excessive absences will not be tolerated.

5. How will I be kept informed of holidays, upcoming events, and other information? Parents will received a newsletter every month with important information via e-mail as well as a hardcopy available at the Front Desk. This newsletter, along with other important information, is available online at www.kindorfdancers.com

6. Is there a dress code? Yes, we do have a mandatory dress code. A dress code promotes discipline and uniformity and allows instructors to view proper body alignment and muscle use. Please click here for details.

7. Do you have a recital? Yes! Each year, Kindorf Dancers presents two high-energy Dance Concerts (December & July) which enables all of our students the opportunity to showcase their dance skills and routines. Our mission is to create lasting and cherished memories for everyone involved. The December Concert is an informal holiday show that emphasizes the technical progress of our dancers as well as inspiring the holiday spirit in everyone. The July Dance Concert is held in a professional theatre and is the highlight of our 11-month program.

8. Am I allowed to watch my child in class? Absolutely! Two of the three studios have large viewing windows to observe classes. The third studio will have the door open for the first and last 10 minutes for observation. Please remember that if you can see them, your dancer can see you! For our younger dancers, we ask that parents be mindful that dancers are easily distracted. If you notice your dancer start to look at you more than the teacher, please take a break from your observation.

9. How do I register my child for Kindorf Dancers? Give us a call, send an e-mail, or stop by! Registration begins in August and ends when either a class is full or the month of February, whichever happens first. If you've missed the registration for this year, give us a call so we can make sure you have the registration information for next season.

10. How do your tuition rates work and why am I paying the same rate for a 3-lesson month and a 5-lesson month? Tuition payments are based on a seasonal rate and then divided by the number of months in our season.
